Terms and Conditions (Studio)

Welcome to Ceramics by Leo's website. By accessing and using this website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

1. General
   The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.
   
   Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
   
2. Registration and Account Security
   To access certain features of the website, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate and current.

4. Class Bookings and Workshops
   Workshop and class bookings are subject to availability.
   
   Payment is required in full at the time of booking to secure your place.
   
   Cancellations made within a specified timeframe may be eligible for a refund. Please refer to our cancellation policy for details.
   
5. Open Studio Hours
   Open Studio Sessions are a complimentary service to current students only.
   
   Open Studio Sessions fill up fast, therefore, only one (1) reservation per day and at a time is permitted to offer everyone an opportunity to book.
   
   Participants are expected to adhere to studio rules and regulations during open studio hours, including cleaning their station before their time slot ends.
   
6. Private Events
   Private events are subject to availability and must be booked in advance.
   
   A 50% deposit is required to book a private event. The second and final 50% payment is due 24h before the event starts. Cancellation policies apply.
   
7. Pottery and Gift Card Purchases
   Ceramic by Leo’s gift card purchases are final and non-refundable.
   
   Ceramic by Leo’s gift cards are redeemable by phone, e-mail and in person and are valid for both the studio and the shop.
   
   Prices are subject to change without notice.
   
8. Privacy Policy
   Our Privacy Policy governs the use of personal information provided by you and is an integral part of these terms and conditions.
   
9. Limitation of Liability
   Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services, or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
   
   In no event will we be liable for any loss or damage, including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from loss of data or profits arising out of, or in connection with, the use of this website.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your booking. Please read our cancellation policy carefully.

1. Class No-Shows
   Students registered in our 6 or 8-week classes have access to make-up classes for up to 8 weeks from their class starting day.
   
   Whist there is no limit on the number of make-up classes, they must be equal to the number of classes missed.
   
2. Workshop Cancellations and No Shows
   Cancellations made 7 days prior to the scheduled workshop are eligible for a full refund or can be re-scheduled within a 7 days time frame.
   
   Cancellations made within 4 to 2 days of the scheduled workshop will result in a 50% refund or credit.
   
   No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop or no shows.
   
3. Private Event Cancellations and No Shows
   Private events require a non-refundable 50% deposit at the time of booking.
   
   The second and final 50% payment of private events are due 24h before the event starts.
   
   No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within the day of the scheduled private event or no shows.
   
4. Open Studio Sessions
   Open Studio Sessions are a complimentary service to current students; therefore, they are not subject to cancellation policies.
   
   Open Studio Sessions fill up fast; therefore, we kindly request our students to cancel through their appointment through our website if they anticipate not being able to attend so other students can book.
   
5. Refund Process
   Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
   
   Refunds may take up to 3 days to process.
   
6. Rescheduling
   Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.
   A rescheduling fee may apply.
   
7. Ceramics by Leo Cancellations
   In the rare event that we need to cancel a class, students will be notified as soon as possible and be invited to schedule the corresponding make-up class.
   
   In the rare event that we need to cancel a workshop, or private event, participants will be notified as soon as possible, and offered a full refund, credit, or re-scheduling.
   
   Cancellations for Open Studio Sessions may happen, often due to conflicts with private events, markets, or fairs. When this happens, Ceramics by Leo will remove the class from the website booking system and communicate with registered students as soon as possible.
   
8. Weather-Related Cancellations
   We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule activities in the event of severe weather or unforeseen circumstances. Participants will be notified, and appropriate arrangements will be made.
